Support Materials

Books are a powerful part of therapy sessions at CAC and can play an important role at home and school, too. The age-appropriate titles below are not just educational, they are comfort stories, conversation starters and companions that support healing without re-traumatizing. When used appropriately, they help sexually abused children and teens feel heard, understood and supported as they move forward in their lives.

Below are also links to recommended websites and services that offer a wealth of support whether you are a caregiver, child victim or advocate for preventing abuse or bringing hope to those on the healing journey.
